Model D-30
Beam output discontinuously
(1) Within 30 seconds, could be problem with the board card.
(2) More than 40 seconds, should be caused by laser tube protection mode. Please check from three aspects as follows:
a.Voltage: Voltage isn’t stable
b.Temperature: Whether the environment temperature is at 20℃to 30 ℃；Whether all the fans are running.
c.Signal: Not connected properly or without a ground wire, there is signal interference nearby. The grounding wire should be connected from the power supply of laser tube.

No beam output
(1) There isn’t beam output while the laser is running.
Please measure voltage of the power supply. 48V is normal value.
Please do short circuit connection (not through the board card).
The three threads are orange &white, green& white, and brown &white. Just twist these three threads together.
After the action of forced beam output, If the beam output is normal, it indicates that the laser is normal, and it is necessary to check if there is a signal problem with the board card; On the contrary. If there is no beam output, it indicates that there is a problem with the laser tube and it is necessary to contact after-sales service for repair.
(2) There is no beam output after long time without used.
Please measure voltage of the power supply. 48V is normal value.
Please check if the window mirror is contaminated. If there is contamination, it needs to be cleaned first before proceeding to the next step of testing.

Correct wiring method for positive and negative poles of power supply. As shown in the picture:

The beam spot which at the beam outlet is not circular
The beam spot mode is measured at a distance of 5-10cm from the beam outlet, which is the distance to install the beam expander. The spot mode is optimal at this position.

If there is no beam output
(1)Measure whether the power supply voltage has an input and is 48V;
(2) Check whether there is a high level signal input to the PWM signal;
(3)Observe the status of the following three indicator lights:
The first light is position signal light, the second light is the temperature alarm light, the third light is the power indicator light, and after power on, the second and third lights are in a constant state. The first light will only light up if there is a signal. If it does not light up, it indicates that the signal has not been sent to the laser.
If it is on, but the laser still has no beam output, it is necessary to contact after-sales service for maintenance.
(2) Check whether there is a high level signal input to the PWM signal;
(3)Observe the status of the following three indicator lights:
The first light is position signal light, the second light is the temperature alarm light, the third light is the power indicator light, and after power on, the second and third lights are in a constant state. The first light will only light up if there is a signal. If it does not light up, it indicates that the signal has not been sent to the laser.
If it is on, but the laser still has no beam output, it is necessary to contact after-sales service for maintenance.

The function of the black lens on the front
The function of the beam shaping mirror is to round the beam spot
mode. The beam shaping mirror needs to pay attention to prevent from dust and moisture.As the laser power density is high. Please Pay attention to dust prevention to protect the window mirror.
If there is no beam output
(1)Please check whether the power supply is normal; whether there is any abnormal noise before no beam output; whether there is pollution in the window mirror and beam shaping mirror. And the maximum power of the laser tube is requested not exceed 60%.
(2)While the laser tube is working, it is necessary to add an enabling preionization function or pulse maintenance function, with a reference value of 3US5KHZ. If the laser is left idle for too long, it is necessary to let the laser tube running at a 10% duty cycle for 5 minutes, and after then increase the power to work.
(3)The control of water temperature and the setting of water temperature should be based on the temperature and humidity of the environment to prevent excessive temperature difference and condensation from damaging the circuit and window mirror. Customers are advised to use water cut-off protection. The circulating water needs to be deionized water or distilled water.

Solid state UV laser source
If there is no indicator light, but the beam output is normal
Please check the wiring method. Only the external control wire is a three core wire can display the indicator light normally.
The wiring definition is: PIN 11 (yellow) corresponds to the board gate signal, PIN 13 (red) corresponds to the board PWMTTL signal, and PIN 15 (blue) corresponds to the board GND.

If there is no beam output
Firstly, install the corresponding driver software for the laser in the computer, open the software, select internal control to emit beam, and check if it emits beam. If emits beam normally, it indicates that the laser tube is normal, but the external signal is not connected properly.
If the internal control does not emit beam, please open the DB15 terminal to check if the pin wire is disconnected. If everything is normal, contact the after-sales service for maintenance.

Precautions for use
(1). The pressure of the cooling water circulation machine should be less than 0.2MPa (the pump head is less than 20m), and the cooling capacity should be greater than the heating capacity of the laser.
(2). It is strongly recommended to use deionized water for the cooling water circulation machine, and the cooling water must be replaced at most once every 3 months. If deionized water is not used, the cooling water needs to be replaced at least once a month, and a water tank rust inhibitor can also be added to prevent scaling in the water circuit and affect heat dissipation.
(3)During transportation and use, it is strictly prohibited to drop or hit the laser head.
(4). This type of laser source outputs ultraviolet pulse beam. It is strictly prohibited to look directly at the beam hole, and skin exposure should be avoided as much as possible during use.
(5). The temperature settings of laser tube LD, YAG, SHG, and THG are strictly prohibited from being changed without the manufacturer's permission or recommendation.
